We are here with a unique international collection designed in collaboration with Creativity Explored.

The outstanding works of the Creativity Explored artists with disabilities were printed on DOGO shoe models. The designs will appear at the Mode Brut Exhibition supported by Gucci Changemakers , which will be held in San Francisco. DOGO x Creativity Explored Collection is simultaneously displayed on Saks Fifth Avenue’s iconic showcases - known as the heart of fashion on New York’s Fifth Avenue and at the exhibition.

Initiated by the collaboration of Creativity Explored and Museum of Craft and Design , the project received a grant from the GUCCI ChangeMakers North America impact fund formed by GUCCI and runs social responsibility projects.

Gucci funds a $1 million annual grant to support communities focused on arts & culture and contribute to social life through the Gucci Changemakers impact fund across North America. Among the 16 organizations selected & awarded by the Gucci Changemakers Council, Creativity Explored takes the works of artists with disabilities from the museum walls to the podium with Mode Brut, an interactive exhibition and fashion show.

DeRay McKesson, Naomi Campbell, and Will.I.Am are amongst the ones who are part of the scholarship council.

Founded in San Francisco in 1983 to encourage the artistry of people with disabilities, Creativity Explored and the Museum of Craft and Design, the only museum devoted to craft & design in San Francisco since 2004, created the Mode Brut exhibition in an attempt to change the conventional notion of fashion and redefine what & who is in fashion.

Mode Brut prompts questions about gender roles & identity in minds and encourages to change fashion trends through the eyes of artists with disabilities. Making you rethink the concept of fashion, this exhibition draws a chic, humorous line in harmony with the balance of nature through materials that we are not familiar with in fashion - recycled fabrics and vegan leather.

Bringing a brand new sense of fashion, the project caught the attention of both the fashion industry and the whole world. The designs in the Mode Brut exhibition will be showcased on the iconic windows of the Saks Fifth Avenue store - the heart of fashion, on New York's Fifth Avenue. As DOGO, we are pleased to be involved in this wonderful project, and that Saks Fifth Avenue showcases will host our collection.

Artists with disabilities are at the heart of the exhibition, which focuses on the artistic reflection of the fashion industry. The exhibition hosts four independent collections by the designer Victor Molina, community art collective Bonanza, queer advocate and model Ayana “Yanni” Brumfield , and San Francisco-based haute couture fashion brand Tokyo Gamine, who are among the design partners of the exhibition.

Our DOGO x Creativity Explored collection includes the adaptations of paintings to DOGO shoe models by 14 Creativity Explored artists with disabilities. You can view 15 shoe models in the collection on our online catalog - the designs of boots, babettes, and flat shoes — all produced by vegan leather.

Thanks a million - to the Creativity Explored artists with disabilities, with whom we are pleased to get chance to join our forces and whose works we adore - to the Creativity Explored team, who didn't deny their support during the whole project management process - to the GUCCI ChangeMakers community, who made this incredible project real with a grant...
